Strive 2 Thrive is a mental health and wellness campaign aimed at increasing awareness, education, and support through outreach, events, workshops, and drop-in support.
The Eight Dimensions of Wellness
The eight dimensions of wellness encompass emotional, spiritual, intellectual, physical, environmental, occupational, social, and financial wellness. On this page, we've provided descriptions of each, as well as resources you can use to help improve your wellness in each of the eight dimensions.
Emotional Wellness
- Emotional resilience or “bounce back”
- Stress reduction
- Sleep hygiene
- Mindfulness
- Social support
- Acceptance and forgiveness
- Having a strong sense of self so that you can practice self-compassion through a wide range of emotions while coping effectively with life and building healthy relationships.
