Pitzer College Tutoring Programs

Tutoring programs at Pitzer College include recurring availability for Economics, Mathematics, and Psychology Statistics and Research Methods. Computer Science tutoring is typically available in the spring semester 

Tutoring for the sciences are available through the Department of Natural Sciences. 

The schedules below are tentative assignments for tutoring sessions for each offering this Fall 2024 semester. The details are subject to change, so please look to this web page and email announcements from our tutors regarding any changes. 

Mathematics Tutoring 
Open sessions are available on the following days and times in Bernard Hall 101 for Fall 2024

• Mondays - 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
• Tuesdays -  6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Wednesdays -  4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
• Thursdays -  4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Friday - 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM 

Psychology Statistics and Research Methods 
Open sessions are available on the following days and times in Skandera Hall P102 for Fall 2024

• Mondays - 2:30 - 5:00 pm & 6:30 - 9:00 pm
• Tuesdays 7:00 - 9:30 pm 
• Wednesdays -9:15am - 12:15pm & 6:30 - 9:00 pm 
• Thursdays - 3:15 - 5:15 pm

Economics tutoring is available upon request for those not currently enrolled in Pitzer College Economics courses. Following outreach to our tutoring coordinator with the course you are seeking support, communication with the faculty in our Economics field group will pair you with the tutor most capable of supporting your tutoring needs from the available team. Science tutoring in biology, chemistry and physics through the Department of Natural Sciences can be inquired about by contacting 

Writing assistance for all courses is available at the Pitzer College Writing Center. 

Foreign language assistance is available at the Fletcher Jones Language and Culture Laboratory.
